Cosentino Group is a global company that produces and distributes high value innovative surfaces for the world of design and architecture. JVVA has carried out a holistic fire safety study in several buildings of the group, consisting of several different industrial areas, all of them connected due to the required activity (Silo, packaging, production, storage). We justified that the existing smoke control systems were adequate to provide safe evacuation from the plant, we also justified extended travel distances in some part of the plant. All of this with the use of a performance-based design approached and advanced simulations.
