Fire Safety Training for the Qatar Civil Defense

JVVA has been appointed by the Qatar Civil Defense to host in Madrid 2 cycles of courses about Fire Safety Engineering. The courses, lasting for a full week each, were focused on Performance Based Design, Fire and Smoke Modelling, Evacuation Modelling.

The overall objective with this course was to understand the Performance Based Design process and the different types of technical analysis related to this process. This also included how to perform technical analysis and review technical analysis. The sought outcome of this course was to make the officer/engineer familiar with Performance Based Fire Protection Analysis. The Course was given by JVVA in Madrid with the collaboration of Prof. Brian Meacham and Armin Wolski.
